Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Sauna Craft LLC (“Sauna Craft,” “we,” “us”) collects through saunacraftco.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’re a small sauna design and build company in Fortville, Indiana. We collect only what we need to answer your questions and plan and build your sauna, and we do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Information you give us
Contact form. When you send the contact form on our Contact Us page, we collect:
- your name, email address, and phone number
- how you’d like us to contact you
- your address
- your project details: the type of sauna you’re interested in, how many people it should seat, your budget range, and when you’d like it built
The form also records the date and time of your submission, the page you sent it from, and your IP address and browser details. These help us deal with spam.
Sauna cost estimator. Our estimate page (saunacraftco.com/sauna-cost-estimate/) embeds an estimator app. You can use it without giving us any contact information. When you choose to send your build to us, the app collects:
- your name, email address, phone number, and city
- any notes you add
- the build you designed: room size, wood, heater, door, floor, lighting, accessories, and the ballpark total
That information goes through a form-delivery service called FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which emails it to us at saunacraftco@gmail.com. If that service can’t deliver it, the app opens your own email program with the details filled in, so nothing is sent until you press send.
Email, phone calls, and texts. When you email, call, or text us (317-626-5669), we receive your contact details and whatever you share, such as photos of your space or project details.
Project information. If we work together, we’ll also keep information you give us during the project, such as your address, measurements and photos of the space, quotes, and invoices.
Information collected automatically
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded with Google’s standard tag (gtag.js), to understand how people use our site. It collects:
- pages visited and time on the site
- the website that referred you
- device and browser type
- approximate location (city level)
We also record when someone clicks a phone, text, or “estimate” link. That tells us which pages lead people to contact us. It doesn’t tell us who you are.
Hosting and security. Our website is hosted on GoDaddy Managed WordPress, which includes a content delivery network (CDN) and security service. Like most web hosts, these services automatically log technical information, such as your IP address, browser, the pages requested, and the time of the request, to deliver the site, keep it secure, and block bots. GoDaddy also runs site-performance scripts on our pages that measure things like page speed.
Fonts. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers to download them.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files your browser stores. We checked in a fresh browser in September 2026, and these are the cookies our site sets:

The estimator on our estimate page is hosted by a separate app host (grok.me), which sets its own short-lived security cookie (__cf_bm). The estimator also saves your choices, including any contact details you typed, in your browser’s local storage. That lets you pick up where you left off. This stays on your device until you press “Start over” or clear your browser’s site data.
We don’t use advertising cookies or social media tracking pixels.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- answer your questions and call, text, or email you back the way you asked
- prepare estimates and quotes, schedule site visits, and design, build, and support your sauna
- keep records of our work, quotes, invoices, and warranty details
- understand how our website is used so we can improve it
- keep our website and forms secure and filter spam
- meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
We don’t use your information for automated decisions about you, and we don’t add you to a mailing list without asking.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We share it only in these cases:
- Service providers who help us run the website and our email:
- GoDaddy, which hosts the site and runs its CDN and security
- Google, for Google Analytics, Google Fonts, and our Gmail inbox
- Brevo, which delivers the emails our contact form sends us
- FormSubmit, which delivers estimator submissions
- the host of the estimator app
These providers process information for us under their own privacy terms. - People helping with your project: we share only what’s needed. For example, a delivery address for materials.
- Legal reasons: when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
- Business transfer: if Sauna Craft is ever sold or merged, customer records could transfer to the new owner, and this policy would still apply to them.
How long we keep information
- Inquiries from the contact form, estimator, email, calls, or texts: we keep them as long as we need to respond and follow up on your project.
- Customers: we keep project records, such as quotes, invoices, and warranty details, for as long as we need them for the project, warranty, and our tax and accounting records.
- Google Analytics data is kept under the retention setting in our Google Analytics account.
- Hosting logs are kept by our host for its standard period.
If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless we need to keep it for a legal or accounting reason.
Your choices
- Contact us to see, correct, or delete your information. Use the details below. We’ll respond within a reasonable time. If you live in a state whose privacy law gives you more rights, we’ll honor them as that law requires.
- Tell us to stop contacting you. Just tell us by phone, text, or email.
- Control cookies in your browser settings. You can block or delete cookies, though some parts of the site may not work as well.
- Opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can learn how Google uses data from sites like ours at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Clear the estimator. Press “Start over” in the estimator, or clear your browser’s data for the estimator site.
- Skip the forms. You don’t have to use them. You can call or text 317-626-5669 instead.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information:
- The site uses HTTPS encryption.
- Our host’s network filters out bots and other malicious traffic.
- Only Sauna Craft can access the website’s form entries and our inbox.
No website or email system can be guaranteed 100% secure, so please don’t send sensitive information like payment card numbers through the website forms.
Children’s privacy
Our website and services are meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Links to other websites
Our site links to other websites, including selfcaresaunas.com (where our materials come from), Google Maps and Google reviews, and review sites. We aren’t responsible for their privacy practices, so please check their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or practices change. We’ll post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date at the top.
