Why basements work well for a sauna
A basement is often the easiest indoor spot for a sauna. It is out of the way, the floor is usually concrete, and there is often room to run the dedicated circuit the heater needs. Before we draw the room, we check the ceiling height, how moisture will be handled, and where the heater can safely go.
Getting the most from a compact room
A 6 x 4.5 ft footprint is compact, but a smart bench layout lets it seat 5 or 6 people. A smaller room also has less air to heat, so it warms up faster and works well for a solo session. Digital controls make it easy to set the temperature and session time precisely.
Planning a basement sauna? Photos of the space and its rough width, depth, and ceiling height help Jason give you an initial estimate on the first call, and every build ends with a walk-through so you know how to run the controls.
